Acting in the name of the sepratist Human colonists of New Tonbridge, the Earth Alliance has sent a fleet to take the strategically important Dentrathi system. Thus far, they have secured a base of operations on teh agrarian world of Dentrathi IV, and have secured a staging post in the tail of the comet Arrow of Destiny.
Moving to secure a base of operations, the Earth Alliance has rapidly moved unopposed to secure a supply base on the agrarian world of Dentrathi II
Having secured a base, Fitzwallace ordered the fleet to take control of the tail of the comet Arrow Of Destiny, its composition blocking the emissions of jump engines from reinforcements. No other fleet saw the value of the comet, and the Alliance has settled in with a permenant presence.
Having so far moved unopposed into the system, the fleet nearly suffered a severe setback when their main base picked up nearly an entire Narn task force inbound, apparently to attack. Although some shots were fired, and ships were lost on both sides, the manouvre apperes to have been a piece of diplomatic sabre-rattling, and the Narn force withdrew on the understanding that they would not be harrassed. An unfortunate side-effect of this incident is that a small attack group sent to achieve space superiority over the Drazi at the vital New Tonbridge colony were forced to withdraw on the eve of victory, when an ISA force was detected inbound.
The fourth week of the Dentrathi Incident saw constant hit-and-fade attacks on Searth Alliance shipping by IA White Stars. These attacks have forced Fitzwallace to divert some of the strike force being sent to take the system's Jump Gate to convoy duty. Meanwhile, the remainder of the attack group move to prevent the Narn forces from escaping through the gate to bring reinforcements. At the staging area, the defence forces are forced to engate a party of Raiders looking for a secret base location.
